Sarita Bhajjan

Sarita Bhajjan is the owner and founder of Comfort at Home Care, LLC. She has lived in the greater Philadelphia area for over 30+ years. Sarita has over 20 years of leadership/management experience and has spent the last 12 years in the Healthcare/Homecare industry.

The desire to move onto the Homecare/Healthcare industry was personally rooted. While a young mother of two and a wife to a pastor and part-time student, she didn't have the time she wanted to care for her mother. Sarita's mom, who was living in India, came to the US so Sarita could help her with her debilitating arthritis. Sarita knew that juggling mother hood, a busy husband, a career, and her mother was going to be a challenge but she knew she had to do it. She quickly came to the realization that this was going to be an impossible task for anyone.

While living in NE Philadelphia she started to research for care options for her mom. She had spent hours on the phone, but she just couldn't find a place that she felt comfortable with.

Sarita and her mom decided the best care option was for her mom to return to India. Two years later her mom passed away.

Troubled by the outcome, Sarita knew she had to do something about it. However, with two kids, college expenses, and a mortgage, she was limited. She stayed in her field so she could continue to provide for her family but she often dreamed of changing her career.

Finally, in 2005, Sarita got the calling. She officially moved into the industry. Since then there has been no looking back. The joy she gets from each person she cares for and the comfort it gives to their families is her driving force.

As an owner, Sarita wants to give families the piece of mind that she sought out for her own mom several years ago. The comfort for someone to come to their own home environment to provide care and companionship. That is why Comfort at Home Care LLC was founded.
